Tuesday Triumphs: AAU Nationals and Summer Momentum

It’s been a big week for Prevail Volleyball. Our Girls 15, 16, and 17 Platinum teams wrapped up or continued their journey at AAU Nationals in Orlando—competing against top teams from around the country, growing as athletes, and representing Prevail with pride.

At the same time, energy is ramping up back home. With summer camps underway and the tryout countdown ticking, our athletes are setting the tone for what’s next.

17 Platinum: Battling in Amethyst

The 17 Platinum squad stepped into one of the toughest brackets of the tournament—competing in the Amethyst division and pushing through every challenge thrown their way. They closed out the weekend in the semifinals of bracket play, going 4–8 overall through four days of intense volleyball.

What stood out wasn’t just the stats—but the resilience, leadership, and togetherness this group showed on and off the court. From the first whistle to the final serve, 17 Platinum played with heart.

16 Platinum: Champions in Garnet

The 16 Platinum team came into Nationals ready—and walked away as Garnet Division Champions. They finished 6–5 overall, digging deep through every match and showing what it looks like to grow and compete at the highest level.

Winning a bracket at AAUs is no easy feat. It takes consistency, chemistry, and a belief in each other. And this group brought all of that—and more—to the court.

15 Platinum: Strong Start, Strong Finish

The 15 Platinum team opened their AAU Nationals journey with a perfect 3–0 start—and never let up. Over the course of the tournament, they went 6–4 overall, finishing an impressive 71st out of 163 teams in their division.

Their play was full of grit, smart decision-making, and team-first energy. It was the kind of week that sets a tone for future seasons and shows what’s possible when belief meets preparation.

With Nationals still in motion and the outdoor season heating up, momentum is on our side. Our gym is buzzing with energy as summer camps are in full swing, giving athletes of all ages a chance to grow, train, and level up.

And yes—we’re officially counting down the days to tryouts. The work we’re doing now is the foundation for the next season, and we can’t wait to welcome the next wave of athletes ready to Prevail.
