Tuesday Triumphs: Weathering the Storm and Finding the Wins

A rainy Friday night couldn’t keep Prevail athletes from showing up and competing hard. While Saturday’s Keystone Frenzy was rained out, the weekend still gave us plenty of moments to celebrate—and stories to fuel us into the summer.

Polar Smash: Rising Above the Weather

When the sun finally came out on Saturday for the Polar Smash, our athletes were ready. Coach Kenny led by example, taking 1st in Men’s AA and showing how leadership and love for the game never fade.

For our younger athletes, Polar Smash was a chance to test their mettle in a different environment. Savian C. (18 Pink) brought home 1st in Coed Quads, while Wyatt W. (16 Platinum) and Max L. (17 Purple) dug deep to make it to the quarterfinals in the same division. Those moments in the heat of competition are what make champions, one rally at a time.

We also want to shout out the athletes who played their hearts out—Avery S. & Ryder M. (16 Purple), Griffin C. (14 Platinum), Wyatt W. (15 Platinum), Jules K. (17 Platinum), Brianna M. (17 Platinum), Sam P. (17 Pink), Aiden K. (17 Pink), Logan T. (17 Platinum), and Sawyer C. (18 Pink)—each of you took on the challenge and left it all on the grass.

Keystone Frenzy Sunday: Finishing What the Rain Started

On Sunday, Keystone Frenzy picked up where it left off, and Prevail athletes were ready to make their mark. Nathan B. & Camden R. (16 Purple) took home 1st in the Juniors 16s division—an exclamation point on a weekend full of hard-fought matches and new challenges.

For our alumni, it was another chance to show how the Prevail spirit doesn’t end when you graduate. Tanner Laukhuff and his partner grabbed 2nd in Coed A, Mark Johns finished 2nd in Coed BB, and Jesse Ziegler claimed 1st in Quads A. They’re proof that once you’ve worn the purple and black, the competitive fire never stops.

Meanwhile, Morgan M. (17 Platinum) brought home 1st in the 18U Girls Quads division—an outdoor championship to match her indoor drive.

The Prevail Way: Always Showing Up

These wins aren’t just about medals—they’re about the culture of Prevail. They’re about showing up even when the weather tries to keep you home. They’re about adapting to new courts, new conditions, and new challenges. And they’re about remembering that every rep and every rally is part of a bigger journey.

We’re proud of every athlete who stepped up this weekend. We see your hard work and your heart—and we know it’s just the start of a summer of growth.
