Tuesday Triumphs: Prepping for the Rumble
With the Pottstown Rumble just days away, our athletes got one final tune-up at the ECV Pre-Rumble—and they did not disappoint. From standout podium finishes to valuable reps across all divisions, Prevail athletes and alumni showed they’re ready for the biggest grass tournament of the summer.
Podium Highlights at Pre-Rumble
The wins came in across the board. Drew McIntyre (Alumni '21) captured 1st in Men’s AA alongside his partner—proving that his competitive edge is as sharp as ever.
In Women’s BB, Jules K. and Ryan G. (17 Platinum) battled their way to a 2nd place finish, putting together one of their most consistent performances of the summer.
Ryder M. (16 Purple) brought home 2nd in Men’s B, continuing to climb in outdoor competition with smart, aggressive play.
Meera G. and Shayana T. (14 Platinum) made a statement in Juniors 14U, earning 2nd place and showing the next wave of Prevail talent is already making noise.
Het Patel (Alumni '24), Pavan P. (17 Platinum), Jay P. (16 Platinum), and Coach Yash took home 1st in Quads B, while Sawyer C. (18 Pink) and his team locked in 2nd right behind them.
In Quads BB, Colby Arvensen (Alumni '24) and his team topped the bracket with a 1st place finish, bringing power and poise to every match.
Solid Finishes in Men’s Open
The Men’s Open division brought some of the toughest competition of the weekend, and Prevail was right in the mix.
Noah Gunderson (Alumni '23) and his partner earned a Top 4 finish, placing 3rd/4th in one of the event’s most competitive brackets.Coach Tyler and Christian Sheaffer (Alumni '21) also made a strong run, finishing 5th–8th, and showing what experience and grit can do against elite-level opponents.
Getting the Reps In
Beyond the podium, athletes like Johnny M. (18 Platinum) and others made the most of their matches—getting game-speed reps and building rhythm in a live tournament setting. This weekend wasn’t just about hardware—it was about sharpening focus, fine-tuning communication, and embracing the challenge of outdoor play.
All Eyes on Pottstown
Now, it’s time. The Pottstown Rumble is next—and this group is locked in. From quads to doubles, juniors to open, we’ll have Prevail athletes in brackets all weekend long.
