Tuesday Triumphs: The Outdoor Circuit Begins
The indoor whistles may be silent, but our athletes are still chasing competition—and it’s taking them outside.
This past weekend marked the unofficial start to outdoor season, and if it’s any indication of what’s to come, Prevail athletes are ready to make the most of their summer.
From grass to doubles courts, quads to fundraisers, the passion for the game doesn’t fade when the hardwood ends. It just finds a new place to shine.
Two Cities. One Weekend. All Heart.
While most were soaking in a slow spring weekend, Prevail athletes hit the road for two standout events on the outdoor calendar: the HACC Attack Fundraiser in Harrisburg and East Coast Volleyball’s Mayfest in Allentown.
Both events offered very different vibes—one a community-driven fundraiser filled with grassroots energy, the other a competitive multi-division tournament pulling some of the best regional talent. What they had in common? Prevail athletes bringing the grit.
Rising Up in Quads and Doubles
In Harrisburg, Alumni Colby Arvensen returned to the grass, suiting up for the Men’s A quads division at the HACC Attack. Competing alongside adult athletes and former college standouts, Colby showcased the same confidence and power that made him a cornerstone in his Prevail days.
Just a few nets over, Kevin F. and Jacob K. (17 Pink) took on the Men’s BB Doubles division—one of the more technically demanding brackets of the day. Playing against older opponents and seasoned adult teams, the duo brought composure, creativity, and chemistry to every match.
Meanwhile, in Allentown, the pace was just as intense. Johnny M. (18 Platinum) made a statement in Men’s Doubles, advancing into the playoffs at Mayfest. His performance turned heads and proved that high-level indoor skills absolutely translate to the outdoor grind.
Not to be outdone, Savian P. and Dan M. (18 Pink) teamed up for quads competition at Mayfest, showing hustle and cohesion as they battled through a stacked bracket with relentless energy.

Why Outdoor Matters
At Prevail, we believe growth doesn’t pause when the season ends. Outdoor volleyball builds all-around players—sharpening agility, decision-making, and ball control in ways indoor simply can’t. Every extra rep under the sun? That’s sweat equity for the next club season.
And for these athletes, this weekend was more than just play—it was preparation with purpose.
