First Serve Friday: Playing for a Purpose
When you step onto the court with a cause in mind, the game feels different.
This weekend, members of our Prevail family—athletes, alumni, and coaches—aren’t just showing up to compete. They’re stepping up to make a difference.
The Charger Clash Fundraiser Tournament at Lancaster Bible College is more than an outdoor volleyball event. It’s an opportunity to give back through the sport we love—and we’re proud to see so many Prevail names on the lineup card.
A Court with a Cause
Playing for something bigger than yourself is at the heart of what we do. Fundraiser tournaments like Charger Clash remind us that volleyball has the power to connect communities, support missions, and fuel momentum beyond the lines of the court.
Whether you’re diving in the grass or battling the sun, every point played this weekend supports a larger purpose—and that’s something worth showing up for.
Who’s Repping Prevail This Weekend?
Here’s who you’ll find in the sand and on the grass at Lancaster Bible College this Sunday:
🏐 Coach Kenny (16 Platinum) & Johnny M. (18 Platinum)
Competing in Men’s A/AA
This duo brings fire, focus, and finesse. Johnny continues to shine beyond the club season, and Coach Kenny never backs down from a challenge.
🏐 Tyler Martin – Prevail Alumi
Competing in Men’s Open
Once a Prevail standout, always a Prevail standout. Tyler is the kind of competitor who keeps raising the standard—no matter the division.
🏐 Matt D. (18 Pink)
Competing in Men’s B/BB
Matt brings grit to every game he plays, and this weekend is no different. His presence on the court is equal parts effort and attitude.
🏐 Ryder M. & Avery S. (16 Purple)
Competing in Men’s B/BB
These two are taking what they’ve built in the indoor season and putting it to the test in the outdoor game. Grass court or hard court—they’re here to work.
Playing Outdoor = Playing All Around
Outdoor volleyball pushes you to think faster, move smarter, and become a better all-around athlete. It’s where instincts are sharpened and teamwork takes a new shape. But the best part? It connects you to the game in a whole new way.And when you're playing for something—like the cause behind Charger Clash—that connection runs even deeper.
