Today, on National Pretend to Be a Time Traveler Day, we’re taking a step back—way back—to where it all began for Prevail Volleyball Club. It’s incredible to think about how far we’ve come, but our beginnings were just as full of passion, determination, and heart as they are now.

When Prevail started, it wasn’t about trophies or packed tournaments; it was about building a community, fostering talent, and creating a place where players could grow as athletes and individuals. Practices took place in a small gym with a simple setup, yet the energy and ambition of those first teams were anything but small.

In those formative years, Prevail Volleyball was all about laying the foundation for success. The drills were tough, the coaching was relentless, and the players gave it their all—diving for every ball, cheering for every point, and embracing every challenge.
